Hi there! My name is Esther and I am a second-year Master's student studying exoplanet and their atmospheres at York University.

Before this, I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where I double-majored in Astronomy & Statistics.

Currently, I am working under the co-supervision of Dr. Sarah Rugheimer and Dr. Jason Dittmann; my master's thesis work focuses on the atmospheric characterization of ultra-hot Jupiters using high-resolution near-UV data from the Hubble Space Telescope.

During my undergrad years at the University of Toronto, the combination of skill sets from Astro and Statsitics allowed me to work on multidisciplinary projects, ranging from tackling problems in healthcare and education to stellar populations and exoplanet classification.
